Passwords are generated with the Web Crypto API so randomness comes from the browser’s secure generator — not Math.random.

Length and charset controls

Generate and copy in the popup when you are creating an account. The UI confirms when the clipboard write succeeds.

Local generation history

Are generated passwords uploaded?

No. Generation and history stay on your device. There is no account and no sync to FuriaHub servers.

Is Web Crypto better than a simple random function?

Yes for passwords. Web Crypto provides cryptographically strong randomness suitable for secrets, unlike non-crypto PRNGs.

Can I click history items to copy again?

Yes. Open History in the popup and select an entry to copy it again. Clear or shorten history in options if you do not want entries kept.

What if a website bans symbols?

Turn off the symbol class and regenerate. Prefer longer length when you remove character types so strength stays high.

Does this replace a password manager?

It generates strong secrets, but it is not a full vault with autofill and sync. Use it alongside a password manager if you need storage across devices.

Using history safely on shared PCs

History is convenient — and visible to anyone with access to your Chrome profile.

On a shared computer, lower the history limit or clear it after saving the password elsewhere. The feature is local, but local still means “on this profile.”

Prefer generating directly into a password manager workflow when the machine is not yours alone.
