What you get in practice — not just a checklist.
Passwords are generated with the Web Crypto API so randomness comes from the browser’s secure generator — not Math.random.
Dial length and toggle character classes (upper, lower, digits, symbols) to match site requirements without weakening entropy more than you must.
Generate and copy in the popup when you are creating an account. The UI confirms when the clipboard write succeeds.
Recent passwords can be kept locally so you can copy again if a form rejects the first paste. History never leaves the browser.
Set how many recent entries to retain in options. Lower the limit on shared machines if you prefer minimal traces.
Generation is fully offline. The extension does not send passwords or options to any server.
Settings are stored locally. Details are on the Privacy Policy page.
Common questions about Password Generator.
No. Generation and history stay on your device. There is no account and no sync to FuriaHub servers.
Yes for passwords. Web Crypto provides cryptographically strong randomness suitable for secrets, unlike non-crypto PRNGs.
Yes. Open History in the popup and select an entry to copy it again. Clear or shorten history in options if you do not want entries kept.
Turn off the symbol class and regenerate. Prefer longer length when you remove character types so strength stays high.
It generates strong secrets, but it is not a full vault with autofill and sync. Use it alongside a password manager if you need storage across devices.
Guides and tips for getting more out of Password Generator.
Use Web Crypto generation, copy once, and store the result in your password manager.
Open the popup, set a length that the site accepts, enable the character classes you need, and generate. Copy immediately into the signup form, then save the credential in your manager.
Avoid reusing the same generated password across sites. Treat each generation as single-use raw material for a vault entry.
History is convenient — and visible to anyone with access to your Chrome profile.
On a shared computer, lower the history limit or clear it after saving the password elsewhere. The feature is local, but local still means “on this profile.”
Prefer generating directly into a password manager workflow when the machine is not yours alone.
