Privacy Policy

Developer and scope

This policy applies to the HDrezka Downloader Next Chrome extension and the related privacy page on furiahub.com. It does not cover HDrezka websites, media CDNs, or Google Chrome / Chrome Web Store services operated by Google.

Data collection by the developer

The developer of HDrezka Downloader Next does not collect, store, or receive personal information on a developer-operated server. The extension does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking.

The developer does not:

• Collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information
• Record browsing history for analytics
• Upload downloaded files or page content to developer servers
• Sell or rent user data to third parties

Data processing

When you open the popup on an HDrezka film or series page, the extension reads player configuration and visible page elements (title, poster, year, runtime, voice-overs, seasons, episodes) to build download options.

If you start a download, the extension requests stream metadata from the same site origin via /ajax/get_cdn_series/. When needed, it retries from the page context using your existing browser session. Stream URLs are decoded locally, probed for file size, and passed to Chrome’s downloads API.

All processing happens in your browser. The developer does not operate a backend server and does not receive your files or page content.

Data storage

The extension stores data locally on your device using Chrome's storage APIs:

• chrome.storage.local — preferred quality, download folder name, theme preference (light, dark, or system)
• chrome.storage.session — active download job progress while a batch is running (cleared when the browser session ends)

This data remains on your device and is not accessible to the developer. Downloaded MP4 and subtitle files are saved by Chrome to your chosen downloads folder.

Data transfer and sharing

The extension contacts HDrezka mirror sites and media CDN hosts directly from your browser to resolve and download streams. Those third parties may receive standard HTTP request metadata (such as IP address, Referer, and User-Agent) according to their own policies.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes. We do not use user data for purposes unrelated to the extension’s download functionality.

Retention and deletion

Because the developer does not receive or store your data on a server, there is no developer-side copy to delete. To remove local data: uninstall the extension, or clear extension data in Chrome settings. Active download progress in chrome.storage.session is removed when the browser session ends.

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions needed for its core functionality:

• storage — save settings and in-session download progress locally
• downloads — save MP4 and subtitle files to your device
• tabs — identify the active HDrezka page
• scripting — read player data and, when needed, run requests in the page context
• declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess — set temporary Referer/Origin headers for CDN downloads
• host access — contact HDrezka mirrors and media CDN hosts required to resolve and download streams

Remote code

HDrezka Downloader Next does not use remotely hosted code. All JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and images are bundled inside the extension package reviewed by the Chrome Web Store.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs (if any) will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The extension’s handling of website content is limited to providing download features described in the Chrome Web Store listing.

Copyright notice

HDrezka Downloader Next is a convenience tool. You are responsible for complying with site terms and applicable copyright laws. Only download content you have the right to save. Some voice-overs and qualities may require an HDrezka Premium subscription on the site.

Children's privacy

HDrezka Downloader Next is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
